Illustration has long been prominent among Melbourne Polytechnic’s art courses, and as a degree, the current program continues a long and unique tradition. Cultural and technological change has reshaped the visual culture landscape this century, and while the Bachelor of Illustration embraces all avenues of contemporary visual creativity, individual perception and understanding underpin ingenuity. Graduates of the course consistently produce work that is valued by an increasingly diverse industry: a cultural product that enriches the creative arts.

This year’s graduates are no exception. The graduate exhibition is the culmination of their degree, and is a show comprised of imaginative and authorial imagery; a collection of illustrative work that befits a competitive and transforming industry.
