ERA is a Melbourne based street artist, muralist and graphic designer. The moniker ‘ERA’ refers to the passing or the passage of time and acts as a tool for the artist to separate themselves from their art, allowing objective reflection and as a tool to foster growth.  

The ‘In Two Minds’ series of work features bright colours, cartoon-like characters and bold symbolism, all intentional distractions built from a time spent processing traumas and anxieties from the past. In response to a series of unfortunate events, art became a tool to manage, to understand and importantly to move forward. ‘In Two Minds’ depicts the outcome of this introspection, finding solace on the fringes of society and the psyche.
