16 - 27th August

The iconic koala was officially listed as endangered by the Australian Government in February 2022, with less than 100,000 individuals in the wild. Australia holds the unenviable distinction of having one of the highest extinction rates of living species on Earth. Thousands of species are currently endangered, many critically.

Art Worth Saving’s purpose is to help raise awareness of our species’ rapid decline and to contribute to their preservation.

Art Worth Saving donates 10%* of all our sales proceeds to organisations that are working to create safe and enduring habitats for Australian species. Land clearing and human encroachment are two of the most devastating activities that destroy native animals’ ecosystems, so preserving and rehabilitating bushland is vital for their survival. We choose to donate to Bush Heritage Australia and the Tasmanian Land Conservancy for this reason.
