This exhibition, A Map of Intimacies, considers how landscapes—both external and internal—shape identity, memory, and our understanding of belonging. Through diverse practices spanning design, drawing, and photography, the artists explore the transformative power of materials, place, and the body as sites of connection and meaning-making.
Each piece reflects a sensitivity to the interplay between the perceived and expressed, drawing on personal histories and collective experiences. From Curtis Bloxsidge’s bold, minimalist designs, to Rachel Gresswell’s meditative studies of the heart’s rhythms, and Bridie Fitzgerald’s intimate photographic evocations of domesticity and nature, the exhibition invites viewers to navigate the shifting boundaries of self and environment.
Together, these works present a dialogue about the ways we inhabit and are inhabited by the spaces around us, offering moments of reflection and resonance of our constantly changing world.
