Scensored Part I: Pleasure and Pain

Lucy Jane Brand

25 Feb - 8 March

Please join us for the opening celebration Tuesday 25th February 6-8pm

Scensored—an experimental platform founded by creative director and interdisciplinary artist Lucy Jane Brand. The immersive exhibition blurs the boundaries between pleasure and pain, love and loss, heartbreak and healing, presenting art that is visceral, thought-provoking, and profoundly personal.

Drawing from Brand’s lived experiences of intimacy, trauma and healing, the show invites audiences on a transformative journey through eight multidisciplinary works, including photography, video, sound, performance, installation, and poetry. It challenges conventional storytelling by shifting the focus from the digital screen to an embodied, real-world encounter, encouraging deep introspection and interaction within the space. Scensored aims to foster a deeper understanding of both individual and collective experiences, particularly the complexities of trauma, healing, and intimacy.
