In December, No Vacancy Gallery will be hosting 'Another Artist Market' and we’d love you to be a part of it!

The event will take place 17 - 24 December with a special 'festive night' on Thursday 19 Dec, 5-9pm. The market will include a variety of stalls from printmakers to ceramicists, jewellers and more.

Another Artist Market offers the opportunity to find unique, locally made presents for loved ones whilst celebrating the end of the year away from the stress of the high street.

Event dates: Market & Exhibition open daily 17 - 24 December

Festive event: Thursday 19 December, 5-9pm

Event location: No Vacancy Gallery, 34-40 Jane Bell Lane (off Russell St), Level 3, QV Building

OPTION ONE | 150cm wall space - $60 flat rate for 8 days

  • Gallery to process sales unless artist is present with own payment system. 

  • Gallery to provide install materials.

  • Artist to install works on Monday 16th December.

  • Deinstall to take place Sunday 29th December (although there is some flexibility here).

  • Number of works is limited to space on wall. Works can be replaced as they sell.

  • Artist is encouraged to be present throughout the week and particularly at the festive event.

OPTION TWO | 1 x Table (120 x 75cm) - $60 flat rate for 8 days

  • Gallery to provide table.

  • Stallholder to manage all sales using own payment system. 

  • Stall can be shared (participant to organise this).

  • Stall must be active for Festive Event on Thursday 19 December from 5-9pm.

  • Stallholder is encouraged to be active from 17-24 December. (Timings flexible however it is requested that a planned schedule be provided to gallery before 10/12).

  • Stallholders are responsible for their own stock.

FURTHER INFORMATION

  • The gallery will provide online marketing support  (Instagram 9.7k, Facebook 11k, E-news 2.3k)

  • The space is open from 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 12 - 6pm on weekends. 

  • No commission will be taken on sales.

  • This is a plastic bag free event.

  • The participation fee is a contribution towards gallery rental.

  • The festive event is a free public event and will include live music, a free card making workshop, and other activities. Visitors will receive a complimentary drink on arrival. There will also be a group exhibition taking place in the back of the gallery. This event will receive marketing support from the City of Melbourne. Further details to come.
